Queen finds right hat too late for Eugenie’s wedding
THE Queen spotted the perfect hat for Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding – a week too late.
Her Majesty was touring the £240million revamp of Bracknell town in Berkshire when she admired a £995 partridge and goose feather hat in posh store Fenwick. The shop’s hat buyer, Angela Basten, said: “We were looking at the Vivien Sheriff hat and she said it would have been good because it wouldn’t have flown off – a reference to what a windy day it was.”
