Stalker jailed for ‘sinister’ bug op on ex

OBSESSED Wayne Bamford AN ex-boyfriend who hid two listening devices in his former lover’s bedroom was jailed yesterday.

Wayne Bamford, 47, refused to accept his ninemonth relationship with Joanna Dawson was over.

He could hear live feed of what was happening in the mum of one’s house.

Bamford was arrested after his ex found one device in February last year and another in March.

Over 15 days the “obsessive” stalker had connected to them 1,600 times.

Bamford, who pleaded guilty, was sentenced to three and a half years.

Recorder Anthony Hawks, at Bradford crown court, said: “This is a sinister, planned offence.”

Speaking previously, Joanna, 42, said: “This experience ruined my life.”
