Defoe’s inked for mate Brad
FOOTBALLER Jermain Defoe has a new tattoo in memory of his “best mate”, mascot Bradley Lowery.
The Bournemouth and England star has “Brads” inked on his right wrist.
He had a special bond with Bradley and visited him in hospital as he was treated for neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer.
Defoe, 36, first met the youngster, who died last year aged six, when he was playing for Sunderland.
The star said: “I can look at this and it’ll pick me up.”
