Peake performance as fighter for the 96

ACTRESS Maxine Peake fights for justice as she plays Hillsborough campaigner Anne Williams – speaking to thousands in Liverpool in 2012.

Anne, who died at 62 a year later, lost son Kevin, 15, at the semi-final disaster in April 1989. A fourpart ITV drama shows how Anne’s 23-year fight led to a verdict that the 96 were unlawfully killed.

Maxine, 44, said: “She really is inspirational.”
