BOSS BIELSA GETS READY TO PRAISE THE ROOFE

Championsh­ip: 12 noon MARCELO BIELSA has told his Leeds players they must be tough enough to handle the competitio­n for places.

Kemar Roofe is back from injury to challenge Wales striker Tyler Roberts for the right to spearhead the attack today.

Roofe (above) bagged four goals in six Championsh­ip games to be named the August player of the month before Roberts scored three times deputising while he was out with a calf injury.

The Leeds coach says he is not bothered about disappoint­ing one of them because he says his players must be prepared to fight every day. “We have two possibilit­ies for one position,” said Bielsa. “When you have competitio­n with two players for just one position it makes both players better. If you have a player who is becoming weaker because of the competitio­n, it means we didn’t choose the right player.”

Roofe’s return is a timely boost for Leeds’s flagging attack. After banging in 14
