Our story on Saturday October 13 inaccurately reported that judges take an average 17.7 days off a year ill. In fact, in 2016/17 full-time judges were off work on sick leave for an average of 6.4 days per year. This means the percentage of total working days lost is 2.3%. We apologise for the error.
