Ant’s ex: Do I like that
Lisa responds to ‘legal gagging’ by endorsing tweets
LISA Armstrong responded to claims she has been ordered to stop attacking Ant McPartlin’s new lover on social media – by liking tweets describing her ex-pal as a “cretin”.
She also endorsed a message calling her former husband a “lying addict”.
Reports yesterday claimed she was sent a legal warning after liking messages calling Ant’s girlfriend and their ex-PA Anne-Marie Corbett a “backstabber”.
In light of the story, Lisa liked a tweet that read: “Someone needs to tell the cretin that there’s no slander in the TRUTH. If she doesn’t like being called out then she shouldn’t steal husbands.”
She liked this other message: “Ridiculous. If they’re not happy with a little bad mouthing they should have thought of that before betraying you.”
Another tweet she endorsed read: “Lying addict gone off with your friend. They deserve each other – whilst you deserve way way better.”
The Strictly Come Dancing makeup artist, 41, also liked a message that said: “[Lisa] has behaved impeccably and risen above the betrayal by her ‘friend’ the other woman.” She and Ant, 42, who wed in 2006, were granted a decree nisi this week. Sources said Ant admitted to adultery to speed up the divorce but only started dating Anne-Marie after his separation. Ant, said to be worth £62million, has reportedly offered Lisa £1million and their multimillion-pound home. Meanwhile, his Britain’s Got Talent friend Simon Cowell commented on Ant’s issues after he spent time in rehab. Simon said: “I don’t think any of us saw any signs of his cracking up.”
