Marley Nicholls, six, has aplastic anaemia, which hits blood cell production, and is desperate for an op.

Mum Shaney Truman, 25, from Newport, Gwent, said: “It really is a race against time.”

The family have set up the Marrow for Marley page on Facebook and are urging more people to join the bone marrow register.
