Body of missing boy, 16, found

THE body of a teenage boy who had been reported missing has been found.

Kieran Wood disappeared from his home on Friday afternoon.

His body was discovered in woodland the day after by a member of the public. Tanisha Bramwell, chair of Bramwell Sports Development Team, a youth organisation which Kieran attended, said: “We are very sad to hear the news of Kieran Wood’s passing.

“Kieran attended a lot of our sessions and projects and was friends with many of our participants. Our condolences go out to all of his loved ones.

“Our team have him in our thoughts.” Police are not treating his death in Dewsbury, West Yorks, as suspicious.
