ROVERS IN MOWBRAY DEAL GOAL
BLACKBURN manager Tony Mowbray is to be offered a new contract.
Mowbray (above) steered Rovers to promotion last season and they are seventh in the Championship.
His deal expires at the end of the season but Blackburn hold a one-year option on him. Chief executive Steve Waggott revealed Mowbray’s future will be on the agenda when they meet the club’s owners next month.
Waggott said: “We want to have discussions with Tony not just about triggering the option, but also in terms of a more long-term basis.” Latest news - see www.mirror.co.uk/sport All the latest build-up ahead of Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United
