New roles to deal with Brexit chaos
BREXIT “resilience advisers” are being recruited as the clock ticks down to Britain quitting the EU.
The nine-month roles worth up to £50,000 are part of a “Resilience and Emergency Division” which comes under the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government headed by MP James Brokenshire.
According to an advert on a Civil Service website the posts, dubbed “exciting and challenging”, could be extended beyond June.
Successful applicants will help tackle any “disruption” triggered by Britain’s EU exit, due on March 29.
