Soaper troupers get their gongs
CORRIE was streets ahead of its rivals as it dominated the Inside Soap Awards last night.
The ITV show claimed silverware in seven categories – more than any other soap this year – including Best Soap and Best Actor.
It also claimed honours for Best Shock Twist and having the funniest characters.
Meanwhile, Emmerdale, EastEnders, Holloyoaks and Doctors also picked up gongs at the ceremony in Central London.
