FRIENDS of Ant McPartlin fear his divorce from make-up artist Lisa Armstrong is going to turn nasty.
They claim the TV presenter, 42, is happy to give up half of his multi-millionpound fortune and resolve the split.
But they said Ant believes Lisa could go public with her views and may even go on television to talk about her ordeal.
It comes after the Saturday Night Takeaway star took his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett to see his hometown, Newcastle.
He and Lisa were last week granted a decree nisi, yet there appears to be no sign of a resolution over a financial settlement.
Custody of their labrador Hurley remains a major issue, too. A source close to Ant said: “It looks like it will get messy. He wants arbitration, but he thinks Lisa may go public and may even go on TV.

“She wants to keep their dog, but so does he. It is unclear how they are going to resolve that. I think he bought it for her, but it really belongs to the two of them.”
Ant’s earnings during their marriage are thought to be less than early estimates of £62million, but friends have dismissed claims he made a derisory offer to Lisa of £1million plus their former £6million home in London.
Lisa, 41, found him “intolerable to live with”, according to the decree nisi.
Ant admitted adultery, but pals insist it was only to speed up the process and his relationship with Anne-Marie began after the split.
One friend said: “He has always said he is happy to give her half of everything. He has lost a lot of weight and is worrying about the divorce.”
Ant showed his relationship with PA Anne-Marie, 42, is getting serious by taking her to childhood haunts last week.
She saw the streets where he grew up, including Acanthus Avenue and his former family home in Linden Avenue in Newcastle’s west end, where he was photographed with fans. The pal said: “He wanted her to see where he used to live.”
Lisa, a make-up artist on Strictly Come Dancing, has apparently responded to claims she had been ordered to stop attacking Anne-Marie on social media by liking tweets criticising her former friend.
Ant will not be back on TV next month for I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, and This Morning’s Holly Willoughby will co-host it instead with Declan Donnelly.
