Smokers face public shame
SMOKERS who spark up outside a hospital are being shamed with loudspeaker messages recorded by children.
Anyone who spots a smoker at Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield, West Yorks, can press a button to play a message.
One says: “A lot of our parents come here for their cancer treatment. Please think before you smoke.”
The NHS Trust said it was “totally unacceptable” for people to smoke at the hospital entrance.
