I was interested in the plight of the lady who is considering adoption after IVF failures (Dear Coleen, Oct 12).

I would encourage her to never give up her dream of becoming a mother.

I know two couples that struggled with fertility issues and in the end they chose adoption, which was a positive and lifechanging experience for both. Interestingly, these couples also went on to have their own children naturally. Joyce, via email
