Lunch break saves worker

-

A SHOP worker narrowly escaped death when a bus smashed into an opticians just after she left for lunch.

The single decker was left embedded in the store and hit the desk where Nazmin Aktar, 37, was sitting five minutes before.

She locked up Shipley Eye Wear, in Shipley, West Yorks, at around noon on Monday before the bus reportedly swerved while trying to avoid a car.

Namzin said: “Everybody was saying somebody was watching over me.

“If I was there, I would’ve been hit. It’s shocking.”
