Women taking over House of Cads

House of Cards should be renamed “House of Women” due to the number of strong female characters, says Patricia Clarkson, who plays Jane Davis, one of those strong female characters.

In Season Six of the Netflix hit Francis Underwood – who was played by shamed actor Kevin Spacey – has been killed off and replaced as US President by his wife Claire, played by Robin Wright.

Diane Lane joins the cast as one of her allies, or enemies – time will tell.

But Patricia says: “There are a lot of powerhouse women.”
