BENETTON TYCOON DIES

Billionaire Gilberto Benetton – co-founder of the Italian fashion firm – has died aged 77 after a short illness. He started the business with his two brothers and sister in 1965. Famed for attention-grabbing adverts, the company eventually expanded from fashion into construction and other offshoots.
