Chilwell’s Euro vote for Foxes

- ALL IS WELL BY ADRIAN KAJUMBA

BEN CHILWELL believes Leicester’s form and position does not reflect their quality.

And he believes they have the potential to be a big European club after signing a new five-year deal.

Leicester showed what they are capable of at the Emirates when they had Arsenal on the back foot for 40 minutes and led through Hector Bellerin’s own goal which was forced by Chilwell.

But they were blown away in the second half and sent crashing to a fifth defeat in nine games to stay 11th in the table.

England left-back Chilwell, 21, said: “That is not a fair reflection of our talent. I feel like it is just not quite going for us. There is a lot of quality in our dressing room.

“The attacking players we have are maybe the best Leicester have had.”

Chilwell’s faith in what is happening at Leicester was confirmed when he signed a new contract last week.

He said: “The club wants to be a big European club and I feel we have the quality in the changing room and with the players the owner wants to bring in, it is definitely possible.”
