WORLD CUP FOR REDS..

FIFA want to revive controversial plans for a new Club World Cup every year involving top European and Premier League clubs.

It is believed 12 top European teams would be among the global participants.

Manchester United and Liverpool are likely to be among the sides FIFA want to see take part in the inaugural competition in 2021.

But UEFA is against the scheme which will be raised when FIFA’s ruling council meets in Rwanda tomorrow and Friday.

Saudi Arabian finance is understood to be involved.
