SUPER-SUB MOR SAVES LIONS’ SKIN
STEVE MORISON’S first goal of the season fired Millwall out of the bottom three – after the game was transformed by two penalties in three minutes.
Morison clinched the Lions’ third league win of the season when he slotted home from Shane Ferguson’s cross eight minutes from time.
That was after Wigan’s Josh Windass blasted a 57th minute spot-kick over the bar. At that point the Latics were leading through a Jed Wallace own-goal on the stroke of half-time.
But Millwall’s Shaun Williams (above) levelled from the spot on 60 minutes after Reece James felled Aiden O’Brien.
