Best times? 60s swing it

THE Swinging Sixties is our favourite decade, with one in five of us wanting to turn the clock back, a survey found.

The 1969 moon landing and England’s 1966 World Cup win are the events those that missed them would most like to see.

Compare Cover, which did the survey, said: “The 1960s now seem such a carefree time.”

But many wanted to go further back in time – one in five to the 1800s and one in seven to 1500 or beyond.
