Plastic in fish from the 70s

DEEP-SEA creatures have been eating plastic for at least 40 years.

Scientists examined starfish collected between 1976 and 2015 deep off the Outer Hebrides.

The Scottish Association for Marine Science said: “We need more data to find out the true extent.”
