Smith needs to Edge big result

QPR v Aston Villa KO 7.45pm ASTON VILLA boss Dean Smith hopes rock legends U2 will help him get The Edge over QPR tonight.

Smith saw his heroes play the O2 on Wednesday – all because he made his big switch from Brentford.

The Bees were at Preston that night and Smith had resigned himself to missing the U2 gig in London.

Smith (above) says he’s hoping his theme tune at Villa Park will soon be Pride rather than I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.

He said: “Promotion is the aim and it’s not an insurmountable task.”
