Experts and survivors of abuse will tell you those numbers are drastically underestimated.
In 2016 I met Rachel Williams, who suffered horrific injuries when she was shot by her estranged husband at the hair salon where she worked five years earlier. She is now a best-selling author of her own story, The Devil At Home. Since then, I’ve helped to promote her campaigns to make changes to a broken system.
Rachel was promised a meeting with No 10 to discuss the campaigns. As yet, they haven’t sorted that meeting. What are you waiting for Prime Minister?
