AUG 31 The summer transfer window closes and Spurs have signed no one. SEPT 3 Opening of new stadium is put back again. SEPT 18 Spurs concede twice in last few minutes to lose their opening Champions League game against Inter Milan 2-1. SEPT 22 Harry Kane scores after five blank games amid claims he is exhausted from the World Cup. OCT 3 Lloris makes needless dash from goal to hand Barcelona early lead in CL at Wembley. Barca win 4-2. OCT 24 Lloris shown straight red card and 10-man Spurs concede late goal against PSV Eindhoven. OCT 29 Spurs’ clash with Manchester City is moved to Monday night, 48 hours before an EFL Cup tie, and 24 hours after NFL match on pitch at Wembley.
