Air drama as couple’s plane can’t land
HARRY and Meghan’s plane was forced to abort landing at Sydney Airport with just seconds to spare because another plane was on the runway.
Nigel Rosser, flight captain of the Qantas charter returning the royal couple to Australia, said the other plane was “too close” and landing wasn’t safe.
Co-pilot Ann Cole brought it in safely and Harry nodded his approval. Dozens of passengers, including royal staff and journalists, were aboard, including Mirror photographer Ian Vogler who said: “Lots of people were clapping.”
