Joe and Dianne are dancing the foxytrot
Strictly bosses could be set for more controversy as Joe Sugg and Dianne Buswell grow increasingly close.
The pair, who will dance the foxtrot tonight, have been spending long evenings at the YouTube blogger’s London home after rehearsals.
It comes after flame-haired Dianne split with her actor boyfriend Anthony Quinlan earlier this month when he reportedly became suspicious of her closeness to the 27-year-old.
My show source reveals: “Joe and Dianne are completely inseparable – they are spending every waking moment together, even after rehearsals.
“Joe has even been inviting Dianne back to his house and they have been staying up to all hours chatting and hanging out.
“Lots of people backstage think they will come out as a couple after the show finishes in December.”
Professional dancer Dianne, 29, and Anthony, 34, first started dating towards the end of last year after being introduced by his Emmerdale colleague Gemma Atkinson, who appeared on the 2017 series of Strictly.
Dianne’s spokesman said of the break-up: “Due to their busy schedules and distance, they have split, but still remain really close friends.” However a Strictly source said: “Everyone on set’s been discussing how close they are. It did not go unnoticed by Anthony.” Last week Anthony, who plays Pete Barton in Hollyoaks, admitted: “Over the 10 months in which we were dating, it was very up and down. It’s just the longdistance thing was quite taxing for us both. But we are still good friends.” On Thursday, Joe played down the prospect of a relationship, saying he didn’t have time.
It’s a headache for Strictly bosses who had to face the fallout of Seann Walsh and Katya Jones’ drunken snog. Comedian Seann was dumped by girlfriend Rebecca Humphries while Katya’s husband, fellow pro dancer Neil Jones, was left with a face like thunder. What a bunch of scallywags.
