ADKINS IN BACK PAIN

Championship: 3pm HULL boss Nigel Adkins has just one fit central defender available to combat Bolton.

The struggling Tigers have been hit with a defensive crisis after Reece Burke and Jordy de Wijs were forced off at Bristol City.

Angus MacDonald has a calf problem while Ondrej Mazuch is not yet ready to play 90 minutes. Adkins (left) said: “De Wijs got a head injury so we’re going through the FA concussion protocol and he’ll start full training on Tuesday.

“Burke has a hip-groin injury so he misses the weekend as well.”

Bolton boss Phil Parkinson could recall Polish right-back Pawel Olkowski.
