DUMPED Cat is recovering A NOSY dog has saved four kittens that had been dumped and left to die.

He sniffed them out in a bramble bush while walking with his owner.

The kittens, who had been put in a sack, were close to death when they were rushed to a vet.

They were suffering from hypothermia and dehydration, and were malnourished when found in Abbots Wood, near Polegate, East Sussex.

They are being cared for by staff at Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare and are recovering well.

A spokeswoman for the centre, which relies on donations, said: “They are getting stronger every day and will stay with us until they can be rehomed.

“Sadly, kittens are still being dumped regularly.”

After both couples had danced a second time, the judges on the BBC hit delivered their verdicts, with all choosing to save the ex-cricketer.

Bruno Tonioli said: “We’re not talking Fred Astaire or Gene Kelly but I enjoy you both, so I have to go with the couple that made me enjoy the evening more... Graeme and Oti.”

When asked by Tess about his time on the show, Seann said: “When you watch it and hear people at the end say ‘this has been the best experience in my life’, I don’t think you really believe.

“But this has been, without a doubt, the best experience of my life – probably bar the last few weeks.

“But, generally speaking, from the beginning, it really was. I can’t believe it, it’s been amazing.”

Katya added: “It wasn’t easy but thank you for your commitment every single day... I’m so proud of you.”

Saturday’s Strictly was the most watched show across all channels on TV, with a peak of 9.3 million viewers.
