Mum’s ward ‘bug bite’ anger

SORE Sophia Barber A MUM has said her body was ravaged with bed bug or flea bites during a stay in hospital.

Sophia Barber, 25, called her experience “disgusting” as she shared photos of the lumps.

She was admitted to the Bradford Royal Infirmary on October 20 over fears she had a blood clot on her lung. Sophia said her bed was taken out of action after she raised the alarm. She shared a picture of the bed with a sign warning “condemned” and “do not use”.

Sophia, of Wibsey, West Yorks, said: “My legs were seriously itchy.”

A hospital spokesman said they were “fully investigating”.
