No Tears for singer’s sale

TEARS for Fears frontman Roland Orzabal is auctioning off gear worth around £40,000.

More than 30 flight cases containing instruments and outfits from the 80s hit-makers’ 1996 tour go on sale in December.

The haul – including a drum machine, a synthesizer, pedal boards and amps – will be sold by Gardiner Houlgate, in Corsham, Wilts.

Tears for Fears had hits with Shout and Everybody Wants to Rule the World.
