Sad echo of Harding disaster

THE Leicester chopper crash brought back chilling memories for Chelsea fans whose vicechairman Matthew Harding died the same way in 1996.

Last week marked 22 years since Mr Harding and four others died when their helicopter crashed returning from a match at Bolton.

Chelsea named a stand after Mr Harding – a major investor – soon after the tragedy.
