Tribunal after tot tragedies

THREE midwives faced a misconduct tribunal yesterday following baby deaths at a hospital trust.

Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust was probed after deaths and injuries to 23 mothers and babies from 2000 to 2017.

A hearing against midwives Louise Davies, Alexandra Jones and Jane Lacey opened at the Nursing and Midwifery Council yesterday.

Families had said they felt pressured into higher risk birth methods.
