‘Man told pal he had killed suicide wife’

CLAIM Natalia Mikhailoea A MAN who allegedly tried to fake his wife’s suicide was rumbled when he told a younger woman he had killed her, a court heard.

Roofer Derek Potter, 64, told police he had found wife Lesley, 66, hanged at their home. Her death was not treated as suspicious.

But Natalia MikhailoeaKisselevskaia, 32, told Swansea crown court she called police after he said to her: “She was doing my head in so I strangled her.”

Potter, of Mumbles, denies murder.
