Luiz not Sarri now

DAVID LUIZ has paid tribute to Maurizio Sarri’s man-management skills which have once again made Chelsea a happy ship.

Dressing-room troubles under Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho meant the Blues failed to follow up recent title-winning seasons with more success.

And 31-year-old defender Luiz – frozen out by Conte last term – said: “I’m so happy because Sarri is a great human.

“He knows how to teach us and improve us. So when it is like that, it is easy to understand and easy to try to be a fantastic player.

“We can get better and have to think that way.”
