Doc’s £2 Blue Badge shame

A RICH doctor used his dead mother’s Blue Badge to avoid paying £2 to park.

Dr Hoshmand Kalami left his £36,000 Mercedes in a disabled bay as he shopped, a court heard.

Kalami, said to have £300,000 in savings, refused to let a traffic warden inspect the badge in Portsmouth, Hants.

Prosecutor Jenny Ager told magistrates: “She asked him for his name, he said ‘no’. He then drove off.”

Kalami, 65, of Cardiff, was fined a total of £1,083.
