Lead poison in cave kids

LEAD poisoning has been found in the remains of two Neanderthal children from 250,000 years ago.

The finds in France are the earliest known cases of the heavy metal affliction.

Scientists at Griffith University, Australia, think it came from fire smoke or tainted food or water.
