Ashya tale to be TV drama
THE story of Ashya King, the boy caught up in an abduction row over his brain tumour treatment, will become a TV drama.
His parents, Brett and Naghmah, were held in 2014 after taking him out of Southampton hospital to go to the Czech Republic for proton beam therapy.
Ashya, now eight, finally got there and was cured.
Me+You Productions is now making Saving Ashya, and Mr King said: “This is a great opportunity for us to tell the whole story.”
