Final ‘fixed’, fume Bake Off fans

“GET THE PITCHFORKS. NOW WE RIOT,” raged another online.
Yes, viewers angrily typed their disdain when nervy Rahul Mandal scooped victory in the Channel 4 culinary competition’s final.
Kim-Joy recreated the Lost City Of Atlantis in ginger cake and seemed to be ahead after the technical challenge.
But judges lambasted the effort. And Rahul was granted an extra 15 minutes after his storage glass smashed in the tent’s heat – leading some to accuse judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith of fixing the result.
Unperturbed, Rahul went about his business yesterday, catching a bus to his day job as a research scientist.
