Judy Blume’s Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret, is being made into a movie. Kelly Fremon Craig, who will adapt and direct it, says: “Every time I’ve mentioned it to a woman, they clutch their heart and let out this joyful gasp.” Kelly clearly understands how important this is, so hopefully she’ll put her address in the credits. Then if she mucks it up, at least we can just kill her without having to hunt her down first.

Gluten for punishment

I’ve heard of a thing that vegans eat – because it can be made to look like burgers and fried chicken. It’s a wheat gluten called Seitan. Yup, pronounced Satan. It almost takes all the fun away when they make it that easy, doesn’t it?
