MAC WARNING OF TEAM SPIRIT AT BLACKBURN

-

STEVE McCLAREN believes Blackburn will give his fast-improving QPR side their toughest test of the season so far.

The former England boss has won four of his last five matches to take Rangers to within two points of the play-off spots.

But Tony Mowbray’s Rovers have impressed since winning promotion and have just a point fewer than today’s visitors from Loftus Road.

McClaren (above) said: “I think this game at Blackburn will be one of our toughest of the season.

“They have kept the team together and enjoyed a good start.

“Tony has them playing in an interesting way which is hard to combat.

“Blackburn are a tough team to play against, they are very organised.

“And I can see a bit of us in what they are trying to do.”
