Jacko’s artwork is a Thriller

A SERIES of portaits by pop superstar Michael Jackson have emerged for sale for £150,000.

The singer, who died aged 50 in 2009, made over 30 black pen drawings of himself and his family, including sisters La Toya and Janet.

The simple artwork – on sale with American auction house Julien’s – dates from 1985 and was later given to his plastic surgeon, Steven Hoefflin. One portrait of La Toya has the caption “little Toya, I love you”.

Martin Nolan, of LA-based Julien’s, described the drawings as an “amazing collection”.

They will go up for sale on Friday.
