‘Boost health with free fruit’

-

WORKERS should get free fruit, bicycle loans and counselling, according to a Government health plan.

Health Secretary Matt Hancock said firms should learn from the Army where 85% return to work after serious injury compared with 35% in civvy street.

The strategy will also outline improving health through environmental and housing changes as well as technology use.

He said: “Employers need to be more engaged when people aren’t well, getting them back to work.”
