‘EVERY SLIP SO COSTLY’

-

JAMES MILNER admitted that every time Liverpool drop points it feels like a serious blow to their title hopes.

The Reds were held at Arsenal with the veteran midfielder claiming the sheer pace of the title race is so unforgiving you can easily get left behind.

Milner (above) claimed Liverpool now feel under pressure to win every week, otherwise Manchester City and Chelsea will capitalise on their slip-ups.

He said: “We watch some of the games. You feel like you have to win every single week. That’s how hard the Premier League is. If you don’t, you fall behind.

“The main thing is to concentrate on what we’re doing. We keep an eye on what they do, but it’s in our own hands if we win our games. There are others in the title race – Arsenal, United, Chelsea, Spurs. There are so many good teams in there.”
