MP: I’ll speak for badgers
A RISING Labour star has vowed to be the “voice of badgers” in Parliament.
Plymouth Sutton and Devonport MP Luke Pollard blasted a “cruel” planned cull of 40,892 badgers across 11 English counties this autumn.
Ministers claim it will help wipe out TB in cattle, though experts are divided on its effectiveness.
Mr Pollard told a Westminster Hall debate last night: “Badgers don’t have a voice, a say in politics, unless we give them one.”
