Salmond sex claims battle
ALEX Salmond’s lawyer says the Scottish former first minister was not told enough about sexual assault claims against him.
Mr Salmond is taking legal action against the Scottish government to fight a complaints process started over two allegations made in January, which he denies.
Lawyer Ronnie Clancy QC outlined Mr Salmond’s position at a procedural hearing at the Court of Session in Edinburgh yesterday ahead of the full civil case in January.
