Stacey glad of job that’s Strictly fun

DOCUMENTARIES Dooley STACEY Dooley says she is enjoying Strictly Come Dancing acclaim because it is “total escapism” from tough TV documentaries.

The 31-year-old has probed drug addiction, child sex exploitation, and racism for the BBC.

She said: “My work is so heavy and harrowing, so Strictly is total escapism.

“It is a real treat dancing and enjoying myself, just celebrating that side of me.

“Strictly is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever done. It’s all mad!”

Host Tess Daley has also revealed Stacey has made up her own dance move – the “Dooley drop”.

She is 11-8 favourite to win the BBC show with partner Kevin Clifton.

This Saturday the pair will waltz to Moon River.
