Elvis hips ban paper for sale

-

A COPY of Elvis Presley’s contract for a string of shows where he was banned from gyrating his hips is up for auction.

Officials said the star’s moves were too sensual for young girls at the time.

Elvis, 21, was given a warrant for his arrest if he shook his hips in the 27 Florida gigs in 1956.

The contract is expected to sell for £30,000 in Devizes, Wilts.

Auctioneer Andrew Aldridge said: “This is a highly important piece of Elvis history.”
