Cheap option Murray set to make Montpellier debut

ANDY MURRAY will play in Montpellier for the first time in February as part of his comeback schedule.

The former world No.1 (left) played six events over the summer following hip surgery. The world No.263 could return to action in Brisbane at the end of next month before playing the Australian Open.

The Open Sud de France starts on February 4, while the Scot also plans to play Marseille and Dubai.

Marseille Open director Jean-Francois Caujolle said: “Murray is a little cheaper than Federer and proposed to play for half what he usually asks.”
